Set Apart by an Apostle

The old primary song keeps playing in my head - "Imagine ME a Missionary traveling through the land". I am still amazed by this day. We met 5 of our children, spouses and our oldest grandchild in the underground garage at the church office building. We then went together to Elder L. Tom Perry's office in the Church Administration Building. There Elder Perry set Mark apart as the Mission President for the Cochabamba, Bolivia mission. Then Elder Soares set me apart as a full-time missionary and a companion at all times to my husband. We were each blessed with some specific things that will strengthen us and assist us in our callings. It was a never to be forgotten experience for all of us. I feel strengthened, and excited. Tomorrow we will pack up our bags, and play with our grandchildren. Saturday we will enter the MTC around 11:30 in the morning and begin our training. It is time and we are ready. (well . . . almost! :). We do feel your prayers - thank you.
